How You Can Help

Use your knowledge, experience, and passion to enable young people to reach their full potential.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley provides quality afterschool & summer programming in a safe, dependable atmosphere to over 5,000 youth across Santa Clara County each year. To continue to offer these youth the support and tools they need, we need passionate volunteers like you. We offer a wide range of programs and services with volunteer opportunities to match your passion, skills, and availability. Popular areas include:

Tutoring

Empower youth on the road to academic success. Tutoring includes reading with members, helping with homework assignments, preparing for upcoming exams, or researching for projects.

STEM Skills

Foster the development of key science and technology skills among members. Engage in activities such as video production, robotics courses, online learning, coding events, or provide guidance for our annual Tech Challenge.

Creative Arts

Help youth’s creativity flourish. Lead dance classes, assist members in preparing nutritious meals, or instruct them in playing a musical instrument.

Sports & Rec Activities

Coach members in a new sport or game and help them lead a healthier lifestyle. Contribute to practices, officiate games, lead sessions, or help organize a tournament for members.
