Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley names Jon Cisler, Partner – International Tax at Ernst & Young, to Board of Directors
January 2026, San Jose, CA – Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley (BGCSV), a nonprofit youth services group providing after-school voluntary activities for young people through clubhouses across the valley, announced the appointment of Jon Cisler to its board of directors. Cisler is a partner in Ernst & Young’s (EY) international tax practice based in San Jose.
“Jon brings an extraordinary combination of global business insight and genuine heart for our community,” said Steve Wymer, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley. “His leadership at Ernst & Young and deep expertise in international tax will strengthen our board at a pivotal moment for our organization. But what truly sets Jon apart is his commitment to investing in the next generation. We are honored to welcome him to the BGCSV family and excited about the impact his service will have on the young people we serve.”
Also serving as the EY’s Pacific North Tax Market Leader, Cisler’s area of focus is tax advisory, specifically around cross-border tax planning and mergers and acquisition planning. With nearly 25 years of experience in international tax, he has served many multinational clients across numerous industries.
“Many leaders have said that we should leave the world in a better place than how we found it. I have long believed that the success of progressing our world lies with the development of our youth,” said Cisler. “The experiences I have had at Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley events align closely with this belief, where their mission is to ‘Inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring adults.’ I am extremely excited to be a part of this wonderful organization as a board member and look forward to working alongside a great team and a strong board.”
